Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Piedmont Triad, Inc., is an independent, community-supported 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a “home away from home” for families of children who are receiving treatment in our community’s medical facilities.
The House and Family Room programs offer physical comforts, emotional support, education, programming, and referral services designed to promote the well-being of the whole family.
Patients receive no medical attention or treatments at the House. Ronald McDonald House is nondiscriminatory and non-sectarian.
As one of six Ronald McDonald House programs in North Carolina and one of more than 350 worldwide, we are happy to open our doors to families of pediatric patients and invite them to stay with us. Our House offers 36 bedrooms with private baths for families, four living rooms, playrooms, a playground, support services, and a communal kitchen with pantry items, fresh foods, and meals provided through community support.
