The kitchen is where normal happens. We're grateful for volunteers like our friends at The Warm Oven Project who take time to provide sweet tastes of home and normalcy for the families at our Ronald McDonald House. We love that this group bakes for us once a month and provides plenty of gluten free options, too! 🍪❤️
On our #WednesdayWishlist: volunteers to cook dinner! Volunteer signups tend to slow down this time of year, and we could really use your help. It's fun to cook at our House, and providing meals makes families truly feel at home. Visit rmhcpt.org/volunteer to sign up!
That's what one university student discovered when she visited our House. And honestly, we see it every day. 🩵

A box of fries. A few cents rounded up. Thousands of nights of comfort. Thanks to McDonald's customers and crew members who help families stay close. 🏠❤️🍟 #NationalFrenchFryDay
We asked our staff: What's the best part about being a kid? Whether it's reading a bedtime story, playing a game together, or simply spending time as a family, those moments matter. For families facing a child's medical journey, life may look different for a while, but childhood doesn't have to stop. On #BeAKidAgain Day, we're celebrating the simple joys of childhood and the families who make them possible even on the tough days. 🏠❤️
Family first means: sleeping close to the hospital. Family first means: sharing smiles over supper after a long day. Family first means: being together. 🏠❤️
Holidays can bring unique challenges for families with hospitalized children. Our partners and volunteers ensure we provide meals, rest, and compassionate support 365 days a year. Thank you for standing with us.
Some summer memories are made at the beach. Some are made in backyards. And for some families, they're made right here at Ronald McDonald House. 🏠 On Monday our back lot was filled with laughter, burgers on the grill, games, snow cones, smiling faces - and yes, BINGO - as current and former families came together for Summer Bash. One of our favorite parts of the evening was welcoming families back through our doors. Seeing children who once stayed here return just to visit is a beautiful reminder that while a family's stay may come to an end, they'll always have a place in our House. A special thank you to our summer interns and everyone who helped make the evening possible. Your creativity, energy, and heart helped create a night where families could simply enjoy being together. Because even when summer looks different, there is still room for joy, community, and making memories.
Monday nights at our House mean Bingo. Yes, there are prizes. But what families often remember most is the chance to laugh together, meet other families, and take a break from hospital schedules for a little while. On #NationalBingoDay, we're celebrating one of the simple traditions that helps make our House feel a little more like home.
