RMHCPT created NICU milestone cards to help parents celebrate small milestones and victories while their child is receiving care. This is our way of giving families and caregivers a sense of excitement and normalcy as they celebrate babies’ milestones and share them through photos. We're sharing some examples of the cards to enlighten the community about the victories that we celebrate with families who stay with us. Families are encouraged to keep the cards at the bedside and to take home milestone cards after they are used to put into a memory box or scrapbook. Each pack also offers information about the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms to help remind families to care for themselves. ...

“I was in labor for 12 days before my twin boys decided to make their appearance at 26 weeks. I was scared for my babies’ health, but I was even more scared of how I would afford to drive almost an hour back and forth every day to see them. A sweet social worker told us about the Ronald McDonald House …and it became my 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲. For 100 days, the Ronald McDonald House gave me a bed, a shower, food, love, friendly faces, comfort and so many other things that my heart and body needed during one of the scariest times of my life.” - 𝐴𝑠ℎ𝑙𝑒𝑦 𝐵., 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑣𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒, 𝑁𝐶 Thank you for showing your love to families like Ashley's by supporting RMHCPT! 💟Happy Valentine's Day! ...
