No matter how big or small\, our Therapy Dogs are gentle and loyal friends who pass strict testing and certification requirements before ever coming into the House. \n*Pet Therapy is from 5:30 – 6:30 Every Wednesday!* \nThis Week’s Pet Therapy Family is: \nSammy & Meaghan Shultz\n \nSammy is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever and Meaghan is his Pet Mom! He loves gong for walks\, picking up sticks\, going to the beach\, and playing in the snow. He’s a big goofball who loves to meet new people and get his back rubbed. Sammy can cheer up anyone and ease the tension in any room! He can sense who needs love the most and matches the energy they need – whether it’s a kid laying on top of him and playing with his ears\, or a parent who just needs him to sit on their feet and keep them warm.

Charlie loves her job at the RMHCPT and takes it very seriously. She is very independent at home – she loves to sit outside for hours and watch the birds\, especially if it’s cold! Her favorite walks are really just “smellies\,” because she wants to smell everything along the way. Charlie also loves peanut butter and the second someone is opening a jar\, she shows up for a spoonful as quietly as she can. More than anything\, though\, Charlie loves love! Which is why she is so good at being a Therapy Dog.

DESCRIPTION:Our Therapy Dogs are a welcome distraction on Wednesday nights as they spread smiles and cheer after long days spent at the hospital. Our canine volunteers come in all shapes and sizes! No matter how big or small\, our Therapy Dogs are gentle and loyal friends who pass strict testing and certification requirements before ever coming into the House. \n*Pet Therapy is from 5:30 – 6:30 Every Wednesday!* \nThis Week’s Pet Therapy Family is: \nBrewster & Bethany Sharpton\n \nBrewster\, a.k.a. Bat-Dog\, is a 9-year-old pug/bichon frisée rescue and Bethany is his Pet Mom! He is a small guy\, about 23 pounds\, full of lots of love! His superpower is being a comfort dog because he has a keen sense of people who need attention and love when they are having a hard time.
